A Three-toed Box Turtle I found one day mid-morning. I think it was a female ready to lay eggs — it was out in a section of dirt and grass near some woods, and it was near a dig-hole that looked like what Turtles dig for laying eggs. Thank goodness I had time that morning to bring it right in for help!

The TWRC Wildlife Center (also on Facebook) took the Turtle, and was going to had it off to a lady who specializes in helping Turtles. Sweet.
They are a good cause worthy of a donation, if you want to help them out or are looking for places to assist.
